Sun introduces new PCI Gigabit & 4GB FC HBA
Sun recently released a new lower priced PCI GigaSwift Ethernet the X4150A-2. We have both the X4150A in stock for $269 each and the X4150A-2 for $195 each. We have not been able to find any difference between the two boards in the Sun documentation, but we will continue to carry both just in case our customers want to keep buying the original controller. Sun also released six new 4GB / second Fiber Channel HBA's. These faster HBA's are backward compatible with the 2GB / second Storage Arrays and priced about 15% higher than similar 2GB HBA's. These new controllers have been added to our web site and we have a few of each in stock for same-day shipping on orders.
