Sun Blade 2000 inexpensive alternative to 2500.
The Sun Blade 2500 workstation was discontinued in June 2006 and can no longer be ordered from Sun. Strong demand and limited supply have caused prices to increase sharply on the Sun Blade 2500 by as much as 30% in the past 60 days. A popular alternative to the Sun Blade 2500 is the Sun Blade 2000. The Sun Blade 2000 is relatively inexpensive and has considerably more Level 2 Cache on the CPU*. We have included two sample configurations on this email plus custom configurations are available on any machine we sell.
